Ardtalamcu Nootka
(Thistleglen Neville x Aust. Ch. Ardtalamcu Embers)
Nootka came with her sister, Arikara, all
the way from Australia. They were bred by Jocelyn Thompson, and also have a brother in Virginia named Mojave. Their sire, Thistleglen Neville, is a younger, full brother to Ch. Thistleglen Margot, who is the all time winningest Scottish Deerhound in the United States. Their dam,Australian Ch. Ardtalamcu Embers, has some of Australia's most prominent Deerhounds in her pedigree, including Aust. Ch. Nelungaloo Fleet and Aust. Ch. Nelungaloo Swift. Arikara has since gone
to Ohio to live with Jeanne Frye, and promptly came home with two majors from the 6-9 month puppy class at her very first show!! We hope to have some equally nice results with our Nootka, who is also co-owned with Barbara Heidenreich (Fernhill) and Susan Trow (Caretta).
